Keep reading…</p> <p>A day in the life…</p> <p>The Iowa Clinic is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives that drive strategic growth, operational excellence and exceptional patient experience. This role will oversee a variety of projects spanning technology, finance, analytics, construction, clinical operations, patient experience and system integrations. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in healthcare settings, a solid foundation in technology implementation, construction project experience, and a proven ability to navigate matrixed organizations and work with all levels of the organization.</p> <p>Job Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead end-to-end project management for enterprise initiatives, including clinical workflow optimization, IT system rollouts, construction planning, and business development projects </li><li>Develop comprehensive project charters, scopes, schedules, resource plans, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders across departments </li><li>Establish clear communication and governance frameworks to ensure alignment, accountability, and timely decision-making </li><li>Facilitate stakeholder engagement and change management across clinical, operational, administrative, and executive teams </li><li>Coordinate with IT, HR, facilities, marketing, operations, finance, analytics and clinical departments to ensure integrated project planning and execution </li><li>Serve as a liaison between The Iowa Clinic and third-party vendors, including architects, contractors, and technology partners as needed </li><li>Oversee project risk management, proactively identifying issues and implementing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track </li><li>Prepare and deliver executive-level updates and presentations, translating complex issues into clear action plans and recommendations </li><li>Monitor and evaluate project performance, including outcomes, KPIs, and post-implementation reviews to ensure sustainability and ROI </li><li>Develop organizational project processes and standards in a disciplined and thoughtful way </li><li>Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement by establishing best practices in project management tools and methodologies </li><li>Manage multiple, concurrent projects in a fast-paced, matrixed healthcare environment with shifting priorities and cross-functional dependencies </li><li>Maintains awareness of workload of co-workers and offers assistance as appropriate. </li><li>Participates in management, departmental and interdepartmental meetings as assigned. </li><li>Performs other tasks as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated experience working in a matrixed organization, managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities </li><li>Some Salesforce or other CRM implementation and/or project management experience is required </li><li>Strong technology and IT project background, including experience with system integrations and digital tools </li><li>Some experience with construction or facility buildout projects is highly preferred </li><li>Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with individuals across all levels of an organization </li><li>Extremely detail oriented, with excellent follow through </li><li>Leads through influence to hold team members accountable and keep projects running on time and on budget </li><li>Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, or similar) </li></ul> <p>This job might be for you if…</p> <p>Education: Bachelor's degree in business, project management, healthcare administration, information systems or a related field</p> <p>Licensure/Certification: Project Management Certification required - PMP, CAPM or similar, Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus!</p> <p>Work Experience: 7-10 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in a healthcare or clinical setting.</p> <p>Know someone else who might be a great fit for this role?
