<p>Department: Fiscal</p> <p>Anticipated Work Schedule: Weekdays - Varies depending on location, Saturdays 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM</p> <p>Reports To: Assistant Branch Manager</p> <p>Full Time or Part Time: Full Time</p> <p>Regular or Temporary: Regular</p> <p>Bargaining Unit: LIUNA Local 860 Fiscal/BOR</p> <p>Classified or Unclassified: Unclassified</p> <p>FLSA: Non-Exempt</p> <p>Essential Job Functions</p> <p>Checks, processes, records, balances and maintains various records of financial transactions related to car dealerships and vehicle ownership; reviews, verifies, and records required information and supporting documents for each transaction; prepares and sets up files, organizes documents, and files information in designated order; seals titles and memos; retrieves/replaces files; may prepare and assemble documentation for scanning. Reviews electronic title applications (ETA) for errors; cashes out ETA's; inputs checks and cash; ensures that checks are signed; maintains the necessary accounting records to support processed transactions related to area of assignment; reconciles records; verifies accounting entries to ensure accuracy; processes, enters and verifies numerical or financial data; cancels liens. Types, enters, proofreads and processes a variety of documents and data; enters information into department databases; verifies information for accuracy and completeness; makes copies and distributes to appropriate parties. Responds to questions regarding area of assignment; may assist the public in person or by phone; provides basic information on department policies and procedures; receives and responds to questions and requests for documentation and information; researches inquiries to provide accurate response. Processes and logs incoming and outgoing mail; retrieves, sorts and delivers incoming mail; compiles and prepares documentation for mailing or delivery as needed; sorts, organizes, labels, and addresses outgoing mail; applies postage utilizing mail machine; scans outgoing mail; delivers documents in person or through established mail delivery systems; maintains related documentation.</p> <p>Minimum Requirements</p> <p>High school diploma or GED with one (1) year of previous experience requiring bookkeeping, clerical, reception or similar work; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.</p> <p>Application Process</p> <p>This is an unclassified position.
