All DPN employees are expected to embrace and demonstrate the following:</p> <ul> <li>COMPASSION: we show compassion for others </li><li>ACCOUNTABILITY we hold ourselves accountable for our actions </li><li>RESPECT: we show respect for others </li><li>EXCELLENCE: we strive for excellence in all that we do </li><li>SERVICE: we provide outstanding service to our patients, team members and community </li></ul> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Identify, evaluate, and complete cost/price analysis recommend organizational savings opportunities through analyzing organizational spending. </li><li>Request and review vendor quotes, lead supplier selection process, contract negotiations and maintain vendor management relationships. </li><li>Research compatibility of products from different manufacturers to obtain the most cost-effective quality equipment or services. </li><li>Manage supplier spend reporting process, creating meaningful and useful analysis that identifies major purchase categories, key potential partnerships, support product standardization, driving purchasing compliance and responsible for overseeing medical supply inventory management system. </li><li>Maintains contract, modification, renewals to original agreements, and maintains required documentation. </li><li>Work closely with vendors, key stakeholders, operations mangers, accounts payable, revenue cycle and legal counsel to execute business strategy and implement plans. </li><li>Establish and maintain engaging relationships with senior leadership, operations management, clinical specialists </li><li>Project Management in collaboration with the CFO. </li></ul> <p>Supervisory Responsibilities: As Assigned</p> <p>Required Education and/ or Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Position requires bachelor's or higher degree </li><li>Minimum of 5 years' strategic sourcing and contracting experience </li><li>Strong negotiation skills </li><li>Ability to influence and impact organizational change </li><li>Experience working with group purchasing organizations and other distributors of health care products and services </li></ul> <p>General Skill Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent oral and written communication </li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook. </li><li>Experience working with a Practice Management system. </li><li>Attendance and punctuality are essential requirements of this position to provide excellent customer service to both our internal and external stakeholders. </li></ul> <p>Physical/ Mental Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously </li><li>Able to work independently and without direction </li><li>Able to effectively and concisely communicate complex data and ideas </li></ul>
