<p>Our Kforce client, a top investment management firm located in the St. Louis, MO area, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to manage full cycle accounting for a portfolio of investment entities and support the development of junior accounting staff. The client offers salary and benefits, as well as excellent work/life environment, parking perks, six months in office for training, hybrid after.</p> <p>Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Manage full cycle accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements, and cash flow monitoring </li><li>Review and approve disbursements, loan schedules, and financial transactions (wires/ACH) </li><li>Provide training, guidance, and issue resolution support to staff accountants </li><li>Serve as a key contact for partners and clients regarding accounting policies and entity compliance </li><li>Review closing and legal documents; coordinate with attorneys and internal teams to resolve discrepancies </li><li>Support audits, tax preparation, and investor reporting </li><li>Contribute to process improvements and occasional ad hoc projects* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience) </li><li>Experience with full cycle accounting and general ledger maintenance </li><li>Strong Excel proficiency and analytical skills </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines </li><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills </li><li>Leadership or mentoring experience </li><li>Basic tax knowledge </li></ul>
