Highline College (HC) is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time tenure track faculty position in Nursing (Associates of Applied Sciences - Registered Nursing).</p> <p>This position is expected to begin in January 2026.</p> <p>Essential Tasks</p> <p>Professional Responsibilities</p> <p>Please address the following responsibilities in your cover letter. This includes remaining current in your discipline and evidence-based practices fornon-discriminatorypedagogies.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Have a minimum of a Masters degree in nursing from an accredited college or university and from a nursing education program that is accredited by a nursing education accreditation body recognized by the United States Department of Education; AND</p> </li><li> <p>Nursing faculty shall have an active, unencumbered Washington state registered nurse license.(WAC 246-840-523).</p> </li></ul> <p>OR</p> <ul> <li>A bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university and from a nursing education program that is accredited by a nursing education accreditation body recognized by the United States Department of Education: AND </li><li>a graduate degree in a health or education related field from an accredited college or university.(WAC 246-840-526);AND </li><li>Nursing faculty shall have an active, unencumbered Washington state registered nurse license.(WAC 246-840-523). </li><li>Pending degrees must be completed by January 2026 and verified by a letter from the granting institution. </li></ul> <p>Desired Qualifications:</p> <p>We desire a candidate with one or more of the following qualifications. We expect the successful candidate to have only some of these qualifications.
