<p>Title: Mooville Guide</p> <p>Department: LDSC</p> <p>Reports To: Tour Operations Manager</p> <p>Employment Type: Part-Time</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Outdoor Activities Team Member is responsible for delivering a fun, safe, and memorable experience for all Mooville guests. This role focuses on supervising outdoor activities, ensuring strict adherence to safety procedures, and providing friendly, high-quality customer service. Team members serve as positive ambassadors of Mooville by creating a welcoming environment and assisting guests of all ages.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Actively monitor guests participating in outdoor activities to always ensure safe behavior. </li><li>Follow all Mooville safety policies, procedures, and emergency protocols. </li><li>Conduct daily routine safety checks on activity areas, equipment, and surroundings. </li><li>Clearly explain rules, safety guidelines, and proper use of equipment to guests </li><li>Respond quickly, calmly, and appropriately to incidents, injuries, or emergencies. </li><li>Report safety concerns, hazards, or maintenance needs to supervisors promptly. </li><li>Greeting guests warmly and assist them with activities, questions, and directions. </li><li>Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging experience for guests of all ages. </li><li>Communicate clearly and professionally with guests, coworkers, and supervisors. </li><li>Handle guest concerns or complaints with courtesy, patience, and professionalism. </li><li>Encourage participation and help guests feel comfortable and confident during activities. </li><li>Work cooperatively with other team members to maintain smooth operations. </li><li>Assist with setup, breakdown, and general cleanliness of activity areas. </li><li>Maintain a professional appearance and follow Mooville dress code standards. </li><li>Perform additional duties as assigned to support daily operations. </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Strong customer service and communication skills. </li><li>Ability to follow safety rules, regulations, and procedures consistently. </li><li>Have a friendly, outgoing, and positive attitude. </li><li>Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy or stressful environment. </li><li>Previous customer service experience in an outdoor recreation or safety role. (Preferred) </li><li>Be able to lift moderately heavy objects. </li><li>Effective listening and communication skills. </li><li>Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards. </li><li>Able to handle a moderate activity level and maneuver quickly. </li><li>Dependable, Available, Responsible, Teachable & Reliable. </li><li>Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities </li></ul> <p>Work Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. </li><li>Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods. </li><li>Capability to lift, carry, or move equipment as needed (within reason) </li><li>Availability to work weekends, holidays, and peak activity times. </li></ul>
