<p>Part-time</p> <p>Assistant Front of the House Food Service Manager</p> <p>At Cedarbrook Senior Living, we work hard every day to find out what "Celebrating Life Every Day!" means to our residents and their families, then we help them achieve these goals. We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Front of the House Food Service Manager for our Bloomfield Hills community.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Works with the Executive Chef, Food Service Manager and Sous Chef to execute daily meal services for all residents and guests.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for daily room services as well as all dining room operations.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with resolving dining room service concerns promptly.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures proper service and training for maximum productivity and high standards control.</p> </li><li> <p>Is diligent with the dining room team members to ensure that they are in the proper, neat, clean, pressed uniform including name tag and safety shoes at all times.</p> </li><li> <p>Plans daily dining room set-up, sections, service and side-work based on resident meal counts.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures a regular cleaning and maintenance schedule is being completed.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures that local and state laws, policies and procedures are consistently followed to maintain a deficiency free status.</p> </li><li> <p>Selects, counsels and disciplines Food Service team members.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure a safe work environment and behavior on the part of all team members in areas of responsibility.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to interact positively with the supervisor, management, coworkers, residents, and the public to promote a team effort and maintain a positive and professional approach.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to produce a high volume of work in a timely manner, which is accurate, complete, and of high quality.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrate flexibility in work schedule as evidenced by working holidays, evening, weekends and additional shifts when necessary to ensure adequate coverage within the department.</p> </li></ul> <p>Education/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Working knowledge of the industry including clinical diets </li><li>Senior living or healthcare experience preferred </li><li>Fine dining experience a plus </li><li>Professional verbal, written and active listening skills </li><li>Basic knowledge of safety and sanitation </li><li>Must be self-motivated, organized and able to problem solve </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <p>Paid Time off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Company Paid Life & AD&D, 401 (k) Retirement Savings plan etc.</p>
