<p>Under the direction of the Dean of Human Services and Public Safety, the Personal Enrichment Coordinator will manage existing community service program offerings and personal enrichment courses and develop new offerings based on student and community needs, including but not limited to creative writing, photography, languages, financial & retirement planning, and any courses that provide a lifelong learning opportunity for adults to meet their non-vocational needs and interests. This is a part-time position working 20 hours per week (hours may vary depending on the week).</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate and schedule personal enrichment classes and summer camps </li><li>Assist in the development of new programs and classes </li><li>Recruit, hire, and supervise part-time instructors for personal enrichment classes </li><li>Orient new instructors to job responsibilities and college operations </li><li>Schedule and set up classes in the College's course management system, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely submission of required paperwork </li><li>Coordinate and collaborate in the development of marketing strategies to promote available courses </li><li>Engage with area businesses and organizations to create classes </li><li>Assist administration in preparing and monitoring budgets for personal enrichment classes </li><li>Procure and manage supplies, textbooks, equipment, and instructional materials </li><li>Maintain, review, and update course descriptions, objectives, and outlines </li><li>Willing to work evenings and weekends as needed </li><li>Serves on college committees as assigned </li></ul> <p>College-wide Expectations:</p> <p>WCC places a high value on creating an engaged, collaborative campus environment; therefore, employees are required to complete their work hours in person on WCC's campus.
