<p>Akkodis is seeking a DevOps Engineer (AWS) for a Contract with a client in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate is highly skilled DevOps Engineer with deep AWS expertise, bringing strong hands-on experience in cloud migration and on-prem modernization.</p> <p>Rate Range: $40/hour to $41/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.</p> <p>DevOps Engineer (AWS) job responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead cloud migration initiatives, modernizing legacy and on-prem environments using strategies such as rehosting, replatforming, and refactoring.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to automate environment provisioning.</p> </li><li> <p>Build, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, or similar tools to support continuous delivery.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline automation, improve deployment processes, and optimize cloud operations.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor system performance, reliability, and security using CloudWatch, Grafana, ELK Stack, and related observability tools.</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.</p> </li><li> <p>4-7 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or AWS infrastructure management.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong proficiency with AWS services and proven experience executing cloud migration strategies.</p> </li><li> <p>Solid understanding of on-prem infrastructure, CI/CD automation, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code tools.</p> </li></ul> <p>If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
