Other duties may be assigned.</p> <ul> <li>Plans and manages resident care according to each resident's needs. </li><li>Obtains resident vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration. </li><li>Answers resident calls. </li><li>Provides routine care for residents. </li><li>Monitors resident's condition including fluid intake and output and compose resident charts </li><li>Observes resident's health. </li><li>Monitors food trays for prescribed diet. </li><li>Reviews medical charts. </li><li>Accompanies residents to their rooms as needed. </li><li>Assists physicians and registered nurses. </li><li>Communicates with residents and their families. </li><li>Collects samples for lab testing as assigned. </li><li>Administers medication and also assists with self-administered medication. </li><li>Observes residents and reports adverse reactions to medication or treatment, to personnel in charge. </li><li>Prepares specimens for lab courier. </li><li>Provides wound care. </li><li>Assists with resident comfort. </li><li>Cleans equipment and supplies. </li><li>Inventories and requisitions supplies. </li></ul> <p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Directly supervises 1 or more employees in the Resident Healthcare Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include training employees: planning, assigning, and directing work as well as appraising performance, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.</p> <p>SCHEDULES/BENEFITS</p> <p>Stones River Manor offers 8 hour shifts for a more well-rounded work/life balance. A variety of benefits are offered to full-time employees including, but not limited to, vacation time, health insurance, and holiday pay. Weekend shifts come with differentials.
