<p>Worthington Industries is excited to be hiring an Inspector. The Inspector is responsible for performing regulatory and internal customer specific testing of the cylinders. In this position, one needs to be able to read and analyze testing results and complete all necessary paperwork. A successful candidate would be someone who is a self-motivated problem solver with a strong work ethic.</p> <p>We are hiring for 3rd Shift</p> <p>Pay range starts at $22.00 depending on experience.</p> <ul> <li>Medical, Dental & Vision effective day one! </li><li>Great Work Environment </li><li>Onsite Barber/Hair Salon and Gym </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Performs internal testing, internal checks, and cosmetic inspections. </li><li>Performs burst, volumetric and proof tests on all types and sizes of cylinders. </li><li>Performs titrations and calibrations. </li><li>Completes paperwork on all types and sizes of cylinders. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Desired Experience</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of physical steel properties, quality control and cylinder processes </li><li>Strong mathematical and computer skills </li><li>Must be able to comprehend and retain internal and regulatory requirements </li><li>Must be able to handle physical, repetitive work and be able to stand on your feet for 8 hours a day </li><li>Must be able to distinguish between part numbers and sizes </li><li>Must understand and follow the quality policy and procedures </li><li>Must be able to use micrometers and calipers </li><li>Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic </li><li>OSHA safety training and HazMat training Provided </li></ul>
