You'll be part of a diverse team of cross-functional engineers who share your passion for innovation and quality across the field of Industrial Automation.</p> <p>In this role you will:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Design and develop automated test systems for industrial automation applications, including the control package, controllers, and IO system</p> </li><li> <p>Perform initial spin-up, validation, and debugging of prototype PCB assemblies using electronic lab equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Validating software and electronics designs through simulation, emulation, and testing.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop system and sub-system verification procedures that include unit and integration testing</p> </li><li> <p>Translate system requirements into robust test system designs using requirements-based testing</p> </li><li> <p>Drive performance and quality improvements across electronic and software systems</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities</p> </li><li> <p>Assure that appropriate documentation is generated and maintained for work performed</p> </li></ul> <p>An ideal candidate in this role:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Leads by example and empowers their team</p> </li><li> <p>5+ years of relevant experience</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency with schematic capture, simulation, and layout tools such as Altium/PADS and PSpice (or equivalents)</p> </li><li> <p>Comfort working with languages such as Python, BASH, C/C++, and C#</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with both linux and Windows development environments</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with containers, pipelines, and artifact/release management</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to operate and remotely control lab equipment (DMMs, power supplies, oscilloscopes, etc.)</p> </li><li> <p>Experience generating data analytics, reports, and dashboards</p> </li><li> <p>Hands-on ability/style; enjoys discovering, overcoming challenges, and innovating</p> </li><li> <p>A bachelor's degree in computer or electrical engineering or equivalent</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with industrial automation configuration tools and communications protocols a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Experience supporting several concurrent projects across multiple product platforms a plus</p> </li></ul> <p>We offer</p> <p>We offer a challenging work environment that values innovation and suits development-minded people who enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.
