Products are sold through distributors, as well as to large direct customers.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>CNC Lathe Operator will setup, machine, and measure parts to close tolerance to support wire rope hoist and component manufacturing.</p> <p>Principal Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Work with supervisor on setting daily work flow/priorities </li><li>Read and interpret drawings </li><li>Setup, machine, and measure to specification </li><li>Maintain highest quality standards - accept no defects, make no defects, pass no defects </li><li>Communicate any challenges related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity (SQDIP) to supervisor </li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work space </li><li>Innovate and collaborate with peers in your work area - find ways to improve SQDIP </li><li>Volunteer for overtime as needed </li></ul> <p>Pay / Location</p> <p>Starting rate - $21.00 per hour with progression to $23.00 per hour. Pending experience level determines starting hourly rate.</p> <p>Location - 76 Acco Dr York, PA</p> <p>Job Specifications (Work Experience, Skills, Abilities, etc.)</p> <ul> <li>Ability to read and interpret machining drawings </li><li>Experience in CNC Lathe machine setup and operation </li><li>Manual and NC machine experience a plus </li><li>Experience with and ability to use calipers, micrometers and other precision measuring tools </li><li>Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) experience a plus </li><li>High sense of urgency and strong work ethic </li><li>Demonstrated ability and passion for high quality output </li><li>Works well both independently and in a team environment </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <p>High school diploma or equivalent, technical/vocational school a plus</p> <p>Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions:</p> <p>Typical manufacturing conditions.
