<p>Harris Miller Miller & Hanson Inc. (HMMH), a leader in transportation environmental consulting, seeks a?Senior?Consultant to join our growing Aviation Environmental & Sustainability Group. This is a hybrid position out of our Anaheim, CA office.</p> <p>You will contribute to noise and air quality studies, sustainability planning, environmental impact mitigation, regulatory compliance, and public engagement for airport projects worldwide. HMMH, founded in 1981, has a proven?track record?of delivering expert environmental solutions to over 200 airports.</p> <p>Position Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct acoustical testing, field measurements, data analysis, and technical reporting for various acoustics projects. </li><li>Manage projects, including budgets, contracts, equipment, and lab operations. </li><li>Perform acoustical modeling, quality control, and analysis, including for airport sound insulation and other programs. </li><li>Conduct outdoor fieldwork nationwide, up to 2 weeks monthly or every other month. </li><li>Train and have oversight of junior staff in technical areas (e.g., acoustical modeling, data analysis, project management). </li><li>Develop and deliver presentations to diverse audiences. </li><li>Collaborate with clients and subconsultants on contracts, task orders, and proposals (scopes, budgets, etc.). </li><li>Stay current with industry trends and participate in professional societies/conferences. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum?Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>3-8 years of relevant experience. </li><li>BS, BA, or MS in a technical field (acoustics preferred; aerospace, physics, engineering, etc., accepted). </li><li>Strong quantitative, analytical, and communication skills. </li><li>Experience with sound or professional measurement equipment. </li><li>Proven project management and presentation skills. </li><li>Comfortable engaging with clients, the public, and strangers in the field. </li><li>Ability to write clear reports, letters, and proposals. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of acoustic/aviation terminology. </li><li>Consulting experience. </li><li>GIS, SQL, Python, AEDT, or NOISEMAP skills. </li><li>Strong client relationship experience. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs., overhead, regularly while conducting field measurements </li><li>Frequent travel within the local area is required, with occasional trips to other parts of the United States. </li><li>This position requires working in the field outside with multiple weather elements. </li></ul> <p>Location:</p> <ul> <li>Anaheim, CA </li></ul> <p>HMMH offers competitive salaries, a comprehensive benefits package, and a positive work atmosphere.
