<p>Overview</p> <p>POSITION: Safety Engineer</p> <p>Wage: $70k-$90k</p> <p>LOCATION: Jobsites Throughout Colorado</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY: The Safety Engineer is responsible for working with management and employees on-site to ensure a safe and healthful work environment.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Act as an ambassador for the Global Safety Team, championing the collaborative approach to Safety across the project.</p> </li><li> <p>Possess relevant certification which includes at least one of the following</p> </li><li> <p>Certified Safety Professional (CSP)</p> </li><li> <p>Construction Safety and Health Technician (CHST)</p> </li><li> <p>Bachelors or Masters Degree in an EHS discipline</p> </li><li> <p>Graduate or Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH)</p> </li><li> <p>Occupational Safety and Health Technologist (OHST)</p> </li><li> <p>Safety Trained Professional - Construction (STS-C)</p> </li><li> <p>Associate Safety Professional (ASP)</p> </li><li> <p>Provide evidence of having completed a 30 HR Construction Outreach Training Course, or its equivalent, within the last 3 years; or have a minimum of 3-5 years of qualified project safety experience on similarly sized projects of a similar type of construction & OSHA 30 (US) or NEBOSH Certificate/ Diploma (Europe/Asia) in last 3 years.</p> </li><li> <p>Be current in CPR/First Aid training from a provider that is recognized by OSHA (US) or the local equivalent agency/authority/accreditation body.</p> </li></ul> <p>Capabilities and Duties</p> <ul> <li>Be capable of conduction a complete incident investigation. </li><li>Conduct Daily documented inspections that identify exposures and corrective actions. </li><li>Conduct daily documented inspections that identify exposures and corrective actions </li><li>Communicate effectively with employees; </li><li>Be responsible for maintaining a project list of all incidents that occur on their site; </li><li>Be responsible for maintaining their OSHA 300 log or equivalent log of incidents, injuries and corrective actions; </li><li>Inspect, review, and approve (if applicable) PTPs and JHAs; </li><li>Clearly understand applicable state and local agency / authority safety and health regulations; </li><li>Ensure that the safety orientations are conducted in accordance with the Site Specific Safety Program; </li><li>Maintain an up-to-date list of all competent and qualified personnel on site; </li><li>Ensure that all relevant safety training certifications have been verified and documented; </li><li>Conduct weekly supervisory and management safety meetings; </li><li>Ensure that special procedures are being done correctly (Confined Space Entry, LO/TO, excavations, etc.); </li><li>Coordinate and escort personally (or assigned designee) injured employees with minor injuries to the designated medical clinic; </li><li>Coordinate regulatory agency inspections by notifying all affected parties; </li><li>Meet any additional requirements that are outlined in Site Specific Safety Program. </li><li>Must be open to travelling to out of state jobsites as needed </li></ul> <p>Benefits Include:</p> <ul> <li>Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance (starting day 1 for salary employees) </li><li>401K match </li><li>Profit sharing </li><li>Paid Holidays </li><li>Paid Time Off </li><li>THIS POSITION IS CURRENTLY NOT ELEGIBLE FOR SPONSORSHIP* </li></ul> <p>The successful candidate must be safety conscious with a record of working safely in the workplace.</p> <p>WW Clyde is an "Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action/PWDNET" Employer</p>
