<p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Electronic Health Records Technicians complete a variety of tasks associated with supporting patient needs. These tasks range from supporting telecom call center operations, to providing contact center support, to collecting, assessing and processing of patient documentation. The work done by the Electronic Health Records Technician contributes to overall patient care, patient safety, revenue cycle management and continuous quality improvement.</p> <ul> <li>This is an in office position* </li></ul> <p>Electronic Health Records Tech Telecom Agent Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Announcing codes and pages through Vocera (Hospital communication system), throughout the Norton network of Hospitals </li><li>Answering and transferring calls to the appropriate location </li><li>Store, retrieve, review, assess, and process health-related information in both paper format and electronic format </li><li>Provide customer support and help guide patients through the MyChart app/website </li><li>Request medical records to be mailed or faxed to Norton Healthcare and log through Epic (Norton digital medical record system) </li><li>Assist patients with connecting to their zoom visits and general troubleshooting </li><li>Answer calls from other healthcare entities and release records via request over the phone, Epic, Mail and Fax </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>No experience required. We provide comprehensive on the job training.
