The Fleet Technical Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and maintenance technical expertise for the Bombardier Challenger.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Provide technical expertise and recommendations to various support groups of the control center which include fleet reliability and maintenance planning </li><li>Oversee coordination of maintenance activities for scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance as well as follow-up procedures for delays and cancellations. </li><li>Drive continuous improvement in aircraft availability, dispatch reliability, operating costs and owner satisfaction </li><li>Work in cross-functional environment to develop immediate and cost-effective solutions to operational problems </li><li>Assist maintenance providers and maintenance coordinators in troubleshooting complex aircraft maintenance issues </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED SKILLS</p> <ul> <li>Must be computer literate with a working knowledge of Windows and MS Office programs </li><li>Ability to function effectively individually or as a team member </li><li>Successful candidate will be highly motivated individual and a self starter who works effectively under pressure and within time constraints </li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills are required </li><li>Must be willing to work flexible schedules </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>FAA Airframe and Powerplant license required </li><li>Bachelor's degree in related field is desired; and/or 5 years of experience in an aviation environment </li><li>Minimum of 4 years of experience on company specific fleets preferred </li><li>Must have working knowledge of applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) </li></ul> <p>Flexjet is an equal-opportunity employer.
