<p>Position Summary</p> <p>This position determines and provides guidance on maintaining financial eligibility for Medicaid recipients residing at WVHK. The incumbent prepares new and annual renewal Medicaid applications for submission to the Waupaca County Department of Health and Human Services, monitors and evaluates member financial status for those members approaching Medicaid eligibility and works to ensure that current Medicaid recipients maintain their eligibility. This position serves as the in-house subject matter expert on Medicaid eligibility.</p> <p>For a full copy of the position description, click here.</p> <p>Salary Information</p> <p>The starting salary for this position is between $21.00 - $24.00 an hour. Salary is dependent on candidate qualifications. The Member Finance Specialist - Senior classification is in pay schedule and range 12-64.</p> <p>Compensation for current State employees may vary and will be set in accordance with the State Compensation Plan.</p> <p>Job Details</p> <p>Due to the nature of the position, WDVA will conduct a criminal background check prior to an offer of employment.</p> <p>Employment in this position is contingent upon passing a pre-employment tuberculosis (TB) skin test.</p> <p>A 12-month probationary period may be required.</p> <p>Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States (i.e., a citizen or national of the U.S., a lawful permanent resident, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. without WDVA sponsorship) at the time of application.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimally qualified candidates will have experience reviewing financial documents to make determinations (e.g., identify or verify assets, ensure compliance, identify needed divestment, determine program eligibility, document income, interpret bank statements, real estate documents, tax records, etc.).</p> <p>Well qualified candidates will also have experience using computer systems for healthcare data entry, interpretation, and reporting.</p> <p>How To Apply</p> <p>To be considered for this position, you will need to complete the online application process.
