The Emergency Department sees approximately 30,000 visits a year. UNC Physician Network provides the majority of primary care and select specialty care to our market from thirteen separate medical park locations throughout the county. Our 137-bed licensed hospital is a member of the UNC Health System located in the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains.</p> <p>Position Details:</p> <ul> <li>Work with a team of experienced and highly skilled physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners </li><li>Focus on teamwork, work-life balance, and flexibility </li><li>Standardized documentation and extensive resources to ensure maximal efficiency and support while minimizing unnecessary and time consuming duties </li><li>12 hour shifts, 7 on 7 off rotation, 7a-7p. NO NIGHTS; there is a dedicated nocturnist </li><li>Open ICU with onsite Critical Care/Intensivist.
