<p>Job Summary:</p> <ul> <li>Review and accurately code radiology procedures using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes. </li><li>Ensure compliance with current healthcare regulations and payer requirements. </li><li>Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies, following up on unpaid or denied claims. </li><li>Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify diagnoses and obtain additional information. </li><li>Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines. </li><li>Hybrid work available: 1-2 work days from home and 3-4 work days in office </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, RCC) preferred. </li><li>Minimum of 2 years' experience in radiology coding and billing. </li><li>Proficient in medical terminology and anatomy. </li><li>Strong understanding of insurance guidelines, including Medicare and Medicaid. </li><li>Proficient in EPIC systems for billing and coding tasks. </li><li>Excellent analytical and communication skills. </li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <p>Work Days:</p> <p>Monday - Fridays daytime hours</p> <p>Message to Applicants:</p> <p>Our benefits package includes health, dental and vision insurance, eligibility for employer 401k funding after 1 year (3% quarterly/5% annual on vesting schedule), tuition reimbursement, generous paid time off, including vacation and personal time, paid sick leave, holidays and floating holidays.</p> <p>G4: $17.50 - $28.17</p> <p>Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only.
