<p>10/304/2026</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>Under the supervision and direction of the Transportation Supervisor, performs various technical duties pertaining to the maintenance and construction of city traffic control devices for the transportation division.</p> <p>See Full Job Description</p> <p>CLOSING DATE: Open until filled. Department will begin reviewing applications April 22, 2026. Position may close at any time after this date. However, applications will continue to be accepted until position is filled.</p> <p>STARTING SALARY: $17.03 to $21.11/Hour</p> <p>STATUS: Seasonal (non-benefitted; full-time for 6 months or until fall temperatures drop); May 1 to October 31, 2026, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM</p> <p>DEPARTMENT: Public Works</p> <p>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Six months of technical training in equipment operation, construction or related work experience preferred. Valid Utah driver's license. Commercial Driver's License may be required. Knowledge of tools, machines, and equipment used in the construction and maintenance of City streets and infrastructure, OSHA safety standards (particularly roadway work zone safety); general construction practice and procedures. Moderate responsibility for the care, condition and use of materials, equipment and tools. Ability to professionally furnish and obtain information from other departments. Regular use of a paint sprayer, sign machine, traffic counters, computer, copier, drill press, and various hand tools. Ability to communicate effectively and follow written and verbal instructions.</p> <p>Note: Applications may only be submitted online.
