<p>Cash Reconciliation Coordinator plays a vital role on the Accounting and Revenue Cycle teams, reconciling and accounting for cash on a daily basis to ensure proper and timely posting to patient accounts.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Coordination of treasury functions related to disbursement of cash</p> </li><li> <p>Effectively communicates with bank, management, and accounting team.</p> </li><li> <p>Works directly with Revenue Cycle team members to improve daily cash reconciliation process</p> </li><li> <p>Cash controls</p> </li><li> <p>Reconcile home office petty cash.</p> </li><li> <p>Resolves daily exceptions in bank.</p> </li><li> <p>Request, setup, and maintain banking templates.</p> </li><li> <p>Processes weekly transfer of funds from PNC bank accounts and process company wires.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains copies of bank statements and department processes.</p> </li><li> <p>Review/evaluate treasury services, monitors fees and reports findings to Accounting management.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitors disbursements that have not settled and Assist accounts with obtaining AR backup and proper recording of bank transactions.</p> </li><li> <p>Sends positive pay files to bank.</p> </li><li> <p>Issues stop payments via online banking system.</p> </li><li> <p>Daily and Monthly financial reporting</p> </li><li> <p>Keeps Accounting and Revenue Cycle leaders informed about cash discrepancies and unreconciled deposits</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with timely reporting of daily cash reports and monthly cash reporting</p> </li><li> <p>Other Duties</p> </li><li> <p>Participates in Revenue Cycle and Accounting department activities and meetings for team building</p> </li><li> <p>3 years experience in hospital billing - or- 3 years cash reconciliation experience</p> </li><li> <p>Associates degree</p> </li></ul>
