<p>Position Summary:</p> <p>Performs nursing procedures/treatments in the home within scope of practice. Works under the direction of the registered professional nurse.</p> <p>Essential Functions and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Performs a variety of basic nursing procedures under the direction of a registered nurse which may include, but are not limited to, wound care, wound irrigations, medication administration, catheterization, range of motion exercises and glucose monitoring. </li></ul> <ol start="2"> <li> <p>If the LPN is appropriately qualified, prepares and administers oral, rectal, subcutaneous, intramuscular, intradermal and topical medications to patients per policy and procedure.
