Salary based on experience.</p> <p>The QIM ensures regulatory compliance by supporting the preparation and maintenance for survey and ensures appropriate clinical outcomes by monitoring clinical performance and outcome data. S/he evaluates and promotes efficient and effective resident care delivery systems.</p> <p>POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Experience </li><li>Over 5 years Long Term Care experienced in nursing management preferred. </li><li>Over 2 years of Infection Prevention and Control experience in long term care </li><li>Prior Director of Nursing experience required. </li><li>Proven skill success in planning, written and oral communication. </li><li>Strong knowledge base in regulatory compliance, policy and procedures. </li><li>Proven success in organization, dependability and project management. </li><li>Independent decision making and judgement, success at team building through collaboration. </li><li>Bachelors Degree in nursing, preferred. </li><li>License, Certification & Registration </li><li>Current Massachusetts licensure certification and registration. </li><li>Certification in Infection Control preferred </li></ul> <p>Other Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrate excellent verbal and written skills. </li><li>Ability to work independently to organize and prioritize programs/committees. </li><li>Ability to work with confidential information required. </li><li>Excellent knowledge of the mental, physical and psychological aspects of aging; desire to work with senior population. </li><li>Demonstrate excellent presentation and teaching skills. </li><li>Demonstrate competency with Joint Commission standards. </li><li>Average skills in MDS and computer technology. </li><li>Excellent knowledge of state and federal regulations, including interpretation and implementation. </li><li>Excellent knowledge quality management/measurement to achieve customer satisfaction, clinical outcomes and meet strategic objectives. </li><li>Willingness to travel >75% of time. </li><li>Travel required by private car and air travel. </li></ul>
