Consult with and/or instruct others who may carry out recommended activities to assure that student needs are met.</p> <ol start="6"> <li> <p>Provide "educational"/functional activities relative to physical growth and development, with emphasis on fine motor and sensory needs in order to provide for the educational needs of the student.</p> </li><li> <p>Work in a direct instructional mode to provide activities which relate directly to the student's skill deficit.</p> </li><li> <p>Other job related duties as assigned.</p> </li></ol> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ol> <li> <p>BA/BS degree.</p> </li><li> <p>Valid license by State of Minnesota, Minnesota Department of Health, OP Practitioner Registration.</p> </li><li> <p>Capable of serving in an itinerant capacity traveling independently between schools.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of typical physical growth of children and a knowledge of physical disabilities and their affect on normal physical growth and development of children.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of current medical and educational research relative to the field of occupational therapy.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated teaching skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Good human relation skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Good communication skills.</p> </li></ol> <p>Application Procedure:</p> <p>Apply online</p> <p>Studies have shown that some people are less likely to apply for jobs unless they believe they meet every one of the qualifications as described in a job description.
