As the Maintenance Manager, you'll ensure our property runs smoothly, overseeing daily operations, preventative maintenance, and Health and Safety initiatives. If you're proactive, detail-oriented, and organised then this role is perfect for you.</p> <p>Key Tasks & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Oversight of the running of the department including determining work requirements and allocation of duties. </li><li>Oversight of preventative maintenance schedule and routine checks. </li><li>In coordination with the General Manager and Property Team, prioritise and schedule maintenance tasks for the property and grounds. </li><li>Preparation and maintenance of Maintenance department rosters and attendance records. </li><li>Planning, budgeting, and ordering for the Maintenance department. </li><li>Ensuring that training is coordinated, structured, and aligned with service standards. </li><li>Taking a proactive approach to implementing service improvements to drive departmental success. </li><li>Lead Health and Safety at the hotel reporting to GM. </li></ul> <p>Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required</p> <ul> <li>Prior experience with building repairs / maintenance </li><li>Full NZ Drivers Licence </li><li>Excellent communication skills (verbal and in writing) </li><li>Computer literate </li></ul> <p>Your Role: What You'll Do and Your Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Repair buildings, furniture, fittings. </li><li>Replace faulty items like light bulbs.
