If you are looking to build your Skills past the status quo - Trade Up to a Better Crew.</p> <p>Top Reasons to Join:</p> <ul> <li>401(k) with Company Match </li><li>Comprehensive Benefits Package </li><li>Paid Time Off </li></ul> <p>Position Summary: The Commercial Roofing Technician - Low Slope is to provide a service to install, maintain and repair the roofs in a safe and high performing manner.</p> <p>The Blueprint for Success - Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Set up ladders and safety equipment in strict accordance with OSHA guidelines.</p> </li><li> <p>Inspect roof surfaces for existing damage and potential safety hazards prior to starting work.</p> </li><li> <p>Load roofing materials and equipment using cranes, forklifts, and A-frame hand hoists.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure all materials and equipment are safely stored and secured on-site.</p> </li><li> <p>Remove existing roofing systems using power cutters, tear-off machines, and hand tools.</p> </li><li> <p>Transport tear-off debris via wheelbarrows and material carts to trash chutes for disposal.</p> </li><li> <p>Sweep and inspect the roof deck for damaged decking, insulation, or underlayment.</p> </li><li> <p>Repair or replace damaged roof decks to ensure a sound structural foundation.</p> </li><li> <p>Install insulation boards using adhesives, hot asphalt, or screws and plates.</p> </li><li> <p>Apply membrane or roll goods over insulation using adhesive, hot asphalt, or mechanical fasteners.</p> </li><li> <p>Transport and distribute rock or gravel ballast using conveyors, cranes, wheelbarrows, or gravel carts.</p> </li><li> <p>Apply protective roof coatings using hand rollers, squeegees, or power sprayers.</p> </li><li> <p>Additional duties as needed</p> </li></ul> <p>An individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above.
