New hires are eligible to apply 30 days after their effective date of hire.</p> <p>JOB TITLE:</p> <p>Senior Director, Quality</p> <p>AGENCY:</p> <p>Construction & Development</p> <p>DEPT/DIV:</p> <p>Delivery/Delivery Service Office</p> <p>REPORTS TO:</p> <p>Vice President, Program Executive</p> <p>WORK LOCATION:</p> <p>2 Broadway</p> <p>HOURS OF WORK:</p> <p>8:30 AM to 5:00 PM or as required (7.5HR/ DAY)</p> <p>HAY POINTS:</p> <p>1096</p> <p>SALARY RANGE:</p> <p>$138,918 to $189,130</p> <p>DEADLINE:</p> <p>Open Until Filled</p> <p>Summary</p> <p>The Senior Director of Quality will lead the MTA C&D quality function to ensure the ongoing development and improvement of the established ISO 9001 registered Quality Management System.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Serves as the senior Quality Management representative to work with Business Units/Delivery Services for the effective and timely implementation of quality requirements, processes, and systems to ensure successful execution of the MTA C&D Capital Program, including:</p> <p>Development and approval of Consultant and Contractor Quality Programs to meet contractual requirements.</p> <p>Ongoing oversight, reviews, and assessments of Consultant and Contractor implementation of approved Quality Programs.</p> <p>Timely submittal, review, and update of required Consultant and Contractor quality documentation.</p> <p>Ongoing monitoring and oversight of Contractor execution of the required Quality Plan and Inspection & Test activities.</p> <p>Effective initiation and implementation of Corrective Action programs to ensure timely resolution of project issues.</p> <p>Education, training, and guidance on quality management concepts and techniques to ensure awareness and effective implementation of established processes and requirements.</p> <p>Works with C&D Corporate Quality personnel to identify and initiate improvements in C&D processes, requirements, and activities to ensure the successful execution of the MTA C&D Capital Program.</p> <p>Education and Experience</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, Project Management, Transportation, or a related field.</p> <p>Must have a minimum of twelve (12) years of related experience.</p> <p>Must have a minimum of six (6) years in a management or supervisory role and/or project/quality manager role in a large, multi-faceted organization.</p> <p>Competencies:</p> <p>Licensed Professional Engineer or Registered Architect desirable. CQA/CQE or Exemplar Global Certifications preferred.</p> <p>Significant experience in developing and implementing Quality Management Systems to meet established organizational goals and processes, including ISO 9001 Standard requirements</p> <p>Significant experience in project management for major construction projects or project controls with highly complex systems is preferred.</p> <p>Substantial experience leading and managing contractors, subcontractors, or vendors.</p> <p>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</p> <p>Demonstrated building relationships and working collaboratively with stakeholders at all internal levels within the organization.</p> <p>Demonstrated ability to work in a high-profile, high-pressure environment effectively.</p> <p>Must have focus and ability to deliver results, organizational effectiveness, and continuous improvement.</p> <p>Must be a proven leader as a change agent and creative/innovative thinker with the ability to align business goals with solutions to drive process improvements.</p> <p>Must possess excellent team-building, listening, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.</p> <p>Other Information</p> <p>Pursuant to the New York State Public Officers Law & the MTA Code of Ethics, all employees who hold a policymaking position must file an Annual Statement of Financial Disclosure (FDS) with the NYS Commission on Ethics and Lobbying in Government (the "Commission").</p> <p>Selection Criteria</p> <p>Based on the evaluation of education, skills, experience, and interview.</p> <p>How to Apply</p> <p>MTA employees must apply via My MTA Portal.
