<p>Pine Hill School is seeking Educational Assistants to work with students across K-5 grades. Educational Assistants lead academic small groups, provide support to build social and emotional skills and provide inclusion supports. Staff also support the functions of the school through supervision of lunch, break times/recess, and assist teachers with material preparation. Data collection on student progress is also an extremely important aspect of this role. Educational Assistants will be provided support and direction from special education and general education staff.</p> <p>Recommended Qualifications: Bachelor's Level Coursework in the field of education or a related area. Experience supporting students using strategies for differentiated instruction. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Hourly Rate- $23.92</p> <p>Primary responsibilities: To supervise, nurture, and support students. Facilitate classroom activities in support of students' academic, social/emotional, and behavioral learning needs. Implement and collect data for designated academic learning activities and positive behavior support plans. Communication with general education staff and special education staff regarding student progress. Supervision of students in the classroom, at lunch, breaks and/or during recess.
