<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Full time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Day Shift</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Supervisor Food Services</p> <p>Schedule: Mixed /Varied - Rotating shifts, must be flexible to work every other weekend</p> <p>Location: Langhorne, PA</p> <p>Department: Dietary</p> <p>Reports to: Director Food / Nutritional Services</p> <p>Position Purpose:</p> <p>St. Mary Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a full time Supervisor Food Services to join our Dietary Team!</p> <p>What You Will Do:</p> <ul> <li>Oversees operations in cafeteria and patient areas in conjunction with the manager </li><li>Completes cash reports and deposits as required. </li><li>Completes performance appraisals, disciplinary actions and incident/accident reports as needed. </li><li>Assures all food temperature logs for all refrigerators, freezers and dish machines are completed. </li><li>Assures sanitation/cleaning assignments are completed accurately prior to closing. </li><li>Interviews, recommends for hire, orient and train Student Dietary Aides. </li><li>Completes all MOS data entries and transmission in a timely and accurate manner. </li><li>Maintains on-going knowledge of computer software required for position. </li><li>Assures department is closed properly. </li><li>Accurately creates and maintains all monthly operating report files. </li><li>Accurately bills and processes all outside catering functions. </li><li>Monitors food-handling practices of staff for compliance to established regulations. </li><li>Assigns evening employees to job tasks that ensure required duties are completed accurately and efficiently. </li><li>Ensures safe operation of equipment by employees. </li><li>Demonstrates team building and leadership skills. </li><li>Ensures security of department equipment and food. </li><li>Handles complaints and special request with a customer satisfaction focus. </li><li>Prepares all late diet order changes and new admission transactions accurately and efficiently. </li><li>Reports all malfunctioning equipment in a timely manner. </li><li>Supervises retail operation in absence of cafeteria manager. </li><li>Assures meal service to begin and end at proper times. </li><li>Assures employees adhere to proper dress code. </li><li>Assures catering events are delivered and cleaned up in a proper time frame </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Required: High School Graduate/Equivalent </li><li>Preferred: Technical School/1 Year College and 2-4 years experience </li></ul> <p>We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits including:</p> <ul> <li>Medical, Dental, & Vision Coverage (effective 1st day of hire) </li><li>Retirement Savings Program </li><li>Paid Time Off </li><li>Tuition Reimbursement </li><li>Free Parking </li><li>And more! </li></ul> <p>Our Commitment</p> <p>Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
