We are currently looking for an Electrician.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform all necessary maintenance and repairs in CNC machining department including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, PLC and pneumatic repairs on all equipment (Haas and Mazak machining centers). </li><li>Troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical apparatus such as transformers, wiring, electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment (phase 3 motors and 480V). </li><li>Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes. </li><li>Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories. </li><li>Work with precision equipment to test and diagnose problems with electrical/electronic equipment and machinery in the plant. </li><li>Plan, direct, and record periodic electrical testing, and recommend or initiate modification or replacement of equipment which fails to meet acceptable operating standards. </li></ul> <p>Required Experience:</p> <ul> <li>5+ years' experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment as a maintenance electrician or electronic technician. </li><li>Experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing electrical and electronic equipment using a wide variety of diagnostic tools. </li><li>Knowledge and theory of Phase 3 motors and 480V; programmable logic controllers and digital/analog electronics is necessary to work on a wide variety of production and material handling equipment. </li><li>Journeyman's card or equivalent education and 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment - CNC environment is preferred. </li></ul> <p>TWIN DISC is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to providing employment opportunity without regard to an individual's age, color, disability, genetic information, gender, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, race, religion, sexual orientation, or veteran status.</p>
