This individual will be the first point of contact for students seeking academic guidance, providing a warm and encouraging presence while helping to manage day-to-day operations of our centers. This role requires a person who thrives in a fast-paced, student-centered environment and is committed to helping students navigate their academic journeys with confidence and clarity.</p> <ul> <li>Serve as a professional and responsive resource person for information related to the curriculum, advising and DCOBE programs </li><li>Provide administrative support to the Centers, Venture Lab and Student Engagement and Success </li><li>Exceptional organizational skills providing flexibility and independent decision making in a fast-paced diverse environment with an extraordinary attention to detail, confidentiality, accuracy and timeliness </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <p>Previous experience providing administrative support and a strong commitment to student/customer support; working knowledge of various software commonly used in an office environment such as MS Word, Excel and Outlook; detail-oriented; experience interpreting policies and procedures; demonstrated organizational and time management skills; experience working with diverse individuals and/or groups; demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple simultaneous projects and tasks independently; commitment to student success and a collaborative approach to problem-solving; demonstrated ability to work with confidential information.</p> <p>Additional Considerations</p> <p>Working knowledge of Slate, Degree Works and Starfish, eVA, Banner, COGNOS and PeopleAdmin.
