<p>Location: Harley-Davidson Louisville & BMW Motorcycles of Louisville</p> <p>Job Type: Full-Time</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>Harley-Davidson Louisville and BMW Motorcycles of Louisville are looking for a dependable Building Custodian & Facilities Maintenance team member who will be responsible for keeping both dealerships clean, organized, and properly maintained. This role focuses strictly on building cleanliness and basic facility upkeep-no parts, sales, stocking, or service department duties.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Custodial Duties</p> <ul> <li>Clean and maintain all customer and employee areas </li><li>Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize floors and surfaces daily </li><li>Clean restrooms, restock basic supplies, and ensure they remain presentable </li><li>Empty trash and recycling across the building </li><li>Maintain glass doors, windows, and showroom floors for a polished appearance </li><li>Keep exterior entryways clear of debris, dirt, and cigarette waste </li><li>Assist with cleaning tasks following dealership events (open houses, bike nights, etc.) </li></ul> <p>General Building Maintenance</p> <ul> <li>Replace light bulbs, maintain fixtures, and handle simple repairs </li><li>Perform routine walk-throughs to identify issues needing attention </li><li>Light landscaping: weed removal, blowing off sidewalks, basic grounds upkeep </li><li>Seasonal tasks such as snow/ice removal or salt application as needed </li><li>Assist with maintaining a clean warehouse, storage rooms, and mechanical areas </li><li>Notify management when outside vendors (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) are required </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment </li><li>Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks continuously </li><li>Basic hands-on repair and maintenance ability </li><li>Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently </li><li>Previous custodial or general maintenance experience preferred but not required </li><li>Comfortable working around motorcycles and within a busy dealership environment </li></ul>
