<p>Job Title: Manager- Retail & Logistics</p> <p>Brand: NYX</p> <p>Location: El Segundo, CA</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>The Retail & Logistics Manager is a highly organized and detail-oriented individual responsible for providing comprehensive project management and logistical support to the retail marketing, artistry, and educational strategies. This role serves as a central point person for coordinating project-related tasks, managing inventory, and ensuring the seamless execution of consumer events and consumer marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is a proactive and collaborative problem-solver with exceptional organizational, communication, and logistical skills, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Project Management Support:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in supporting detailed project timelines and track progress against key milestones, providing regular updates to the Director, Retail Store Ops. </li><li>Coordinate and manage project-related communication, ensuring that all team members are informed of progress, deadlines, and any potential roadblocks. </li><li>Facilitate project meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute meeting minutes, ensuring that action items are clearly defined and followed up on as requested. </li><li>Support project management processes to improve efficiency and collaboration. </li></ul> <p>Event Support & Execution:</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with creative, marketing, artistry, and DMI teams, as well as external agencies, to support the planning and execution of internal and external retail brand events. </li><li>Oversee the shipping and receiving of event materials, sample inventory, and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and accurate inventory tracking. </li><li>Serve as the on-site point person for events, troubleshooting issues and ensuring smooth operations as required. </li></ul> <p>Sample & Inventory Management:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee the process for Marketing, and Consumer Engagement teams to access product samples, replenishment stock, display units, gratis, and event inventory. </li><li>Manage the US product closet, including product orders, replenishment, deliveries, organization, and inventory control, ensuring accurate inventory levels and minimizing waste. </li><li>Host bi-weekly meetings with teams to ensure all orders are placed on time and all needs are met. Follow up as required to ensure product is delivered for seeding, influencers, and events. </li><li>Work with internal teams on product allocation(s). </li><li>Actively participate in the processing, organization, and receipt of goods and organization of said items. </li><li>Track inventory levels and manage associated budgets, providing regular reports to the Director, Retail Store Ops </li></ul> <p>Sales, Education and Marketing Brand Event Support:</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to support the planning and execution of internal brand events. [I.E. CPD Summit, Sales Meetings] </li><li>Oversee the ordering, shipping, receiving and delivery of brand event materials, sample inventory, branded / logo items and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and accurate inventory tracking. Coordinate return delivery and process as required. </li><li>Serve as the on-site point person for events, troubleshooting issues and ensuring smooth operations as required. </li><li>Preparer of purchase orders supporting Activations and Educational initiatives. This includes receipt of invoices, coordinating payment in appropriate systems, and following up as required. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field preferred. </li><li>Proven experience in event planning and execution, ideally within the beauty or retail industry. </li><li>Demonstrated expertise in shipping, receiving, and inventory management. </li><li>Strong project management skills, including experience developing project timelines, managing budgets, and coordinating resources. </li><li>Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) </li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment </li></ul> <p>Salary Range: 90k-128k + bonus</p>
