<p>Develops and Implements Nursing Plan of Care:</p> <ul> <li>Correlates findings of physical assessment with other pertinent date from the medical record. </li><li>Develops problem statements which are relevant and specific. </li><li>Defines measurable and realistic patient outcomes which are based on problem statements. </li><li>Ordering nursing interventions which are pertinent to patient problem/needs. </li><li>Ensures patients and/or significant other's understanding and acceptance of nursing plan. </li><li>Evaluates patient's progression toward expected outcomes. </li><li>Analyzes specific changes in patient condition, implements interventions and document response. </li><li>Ensures teaching/learning needs of patients and significant others are identified, documented, implemented, and response evaluated. </li><li>Identifies, implements and documents discharge needs in timely manner. </li><li>Provides consultation, guidance and direction to QBHPs in their assigned programs. </li><li>Organizes and oversees the coordination of nursing activities to ensure effective and efficient workflow. </li><li>Ensures initial admission history and physical assessment is completed within established timeframe. </li><li>Ensures on-going assessments based on patient's condition are documented every shift on all patients. </li></ul> <p>Performs Nursing Procedures or Treatments According to Departmental Standard:</p> <ul> <li>Administers medication as needed and chart. </li><li>Ensures compliance with Universal Precautions, Infection Control and Safety Policy and Procedures. </li><li>Initiates and follows departmental protocols in emergency situations. </li></ul> <p>Contributes To Efficient Operation of Nursing Department:</p> <ul> <li>Provides shift report and communicates information regarding patient condition to ensure continuity of care. </li><li>Maintains patient confidentiality. </li><li>Discusses intra-unit problems with person(s) involved and refers to supervisor if assistance is needed. </li><li>Develops and maintains positive relationship with patients, families and visitors, e.g. courteous, respectful, friendly, helpful, supportive. </li><li>Works cooperatively with co-workers and other agency staff. </li><li>Performs housekeeping tasks to maintain clean and orderly work areas. </li></ul> <p>Participates In Development/Educational Activities</p> <p>Conducts Face to Face Assessments</p> <p>RN licensure in Arkansas</p> <p>Shifts available - PRN</p>
