This role is responsible for cleaning, organizing, and maintaining guest rooms and shared spaces in compliance with hotel standards.</p> <p>Essential Functions and Duties:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Clean guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, and other work areas according to health and cleanliness standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Vacuum carpets, clean upholstered furniture, and draperies using approved cleaning equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Empty trash, clean wastebaskets, and transport trash to disposal areas.</p> </li><li> <p>Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment to maintain cleanliness.</p> </li><li> <p>Replenish guest supplies, including linens, towels, toiletries, and other room amenities.</p> </li><li> <p>Keep housekeeping carts and storage areas well-stocked, clean, and organized.</p> </li><li> <p>Use only hotel-approved cleaning chemicals and follow all safety protocols.</p> </li><li> <p>Sort and organize clean linens, storing them properly in designated areas.</p> </li><li> <p>Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Disinfect equipment and surfaces using germicides and other sterilizing agents.</p> </li><li></li><li> <p>Follow hotel protocols to protect guest property, and report any found items or damages to supervisors.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain the ability to clean a designated number of guest rooms per day according to hotel standards.</p> </li></ul> <p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.</p> <p>Required Experience, Education, and Skills:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Prior experience in housekeeping or room cleaning is preferred but not required.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to follow safety guidelines and hotel cleaning standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong attention to detail to ensure high cleanliness levels in all areas.</p> </li><li> <p>Good time management skills to complete assigned tasks within designated time frames.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.</p> </li><li> <p>Good communication skills to interact with guests and team members in a polite and professional manner.</p> </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and stooping for extended periods.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to lift and carry objects up to 25 lbs regularly.</p> </li><li> <p>Flexible schedule, including the ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays based on hotel needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Primarily indoor work in guest rooms, hallways, and public areas, with exposure to cleaning chemicals.</p> </li></ul> <p>Other Duties:</p> <p>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the team member for this job.
