<p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The Manager, Strategic Sourcing - Facilities Operations and Services (FOS), is responsible for leading a team of Sourcing professionals in coordination and collaboration with the Director, Strategic Sourcing. You will be responsible for managing the sourcing and various initiatives supporting the FOS categories. Current initiatives include Supplier Relationship Management, Contract Management, Sustainability, Cost Reductions and Policy Compliance.</p> <p>You will develop, recommend and manage the execution of sourcing strategies and priorities for the categories.</p> <p>You will be accountable for integrating business unit strategies and focusing on improving the total cost of ownership, overall quality, level of service and Supplier compliance.</p> <p>The Manager, Strategic Sourcing, FOS is also accountable for providing operational support and thought leadership for the mentioned categories. The Manager will ensure consistency in approach and quality/depth of analysis during the sourcing process.</p> <p>What You Will Do</p> <p>We are responsible for ensuring TWDC policy is adhered to for third (3rd) party Vendor authorizations and thus will include training direct reports, peer groups, Clients and Vendors where applicable to address consistent application of company policy through streamlined tools/ process that inherently support due diligence and achieve great management of key areas: high-dollar, high-risk(S), high-volume transactions for third-party work. For key Suppliers, in said areas of responsibility, person will manage the Supplier Relationship Management program to develop Vendor and WDW's relationship to ensure strategic relationships in the marketplace are being built and maintained in accordance with TWDC/ WDW values.</p> <p>You must be a team-player; inclusive leader, a trusted, thought-partner for sourcing leadership and its peers; alongside with and our WDW stakeholders.</p> <p>Key Accountabilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead from a place of service, compassion and with the team's best interest in mind; focusing on cast inclusion, development and support. </li><li>Focus on the key metrics of Quality, Service, Cost and Compliance as it pertains to the operational support of responsible areas. </li><li>Provide rigorous cost and market analysis following the models established by Strategic Sourcing </li><li>Prepare and execute clear, structured negotiations following the established strategic sourcing process </li><li>Provide training around key Sourcing processes and tools. Training could be for internal - direct reports; Clients and/ or externally to vendor base. </li><li>Evaluate total cost/supply chain management analyses to identify opportunities to reduce Total Cost of Ownership. Able to provide rigorous cost and market analysis. </li><li>Serve as a business partner to internal key stakeholders by identifying their critical business requirements and providing sourcing support services to meet/exceed their expectations. </li><li>Prepare and execute clear, structured negotiations and Contract(s) following established strategic sourcing processes. </li><li>Implement cost effective technologies to increase transaction efficiencies, drive down overall cost of procurement, improve quality, and raise the level of service to our client. </li><li>Institutionalize Sourcing performance measures that ensure supplier performance. </li><li>Ensure compliance and performance measures are established, tracked, and achieved. </li><li>Demonstrate exemplary integrity and ethics in all instances. </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Ability to make informed decisions in a timely manner </li><li>Experience in creating and holding others accountable to standard operating guidelines or procedures (SOGs/ SOPs) </li><li>Experienced with Contract Management: includes conforming/ negotiating/ executing/ addressing change management; etc. </li><li>Strong negotiation skills, and project management experience </li><li>Ability to provide detailed and structured cost/financial analyses. </li><li>Customer service orientation and client-centered focus </li><li>Outstanding written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Demonstrated capacity to influence stakeholders at all levels in the organization. </li><li>Related industry experience 'sourcing' services (labor) support for maintenance - technical/ construction/ MRO and Equipment Projects and/ or supply at large scale </li><li>Understanding and ability to apply e-Sourcing/ procurement technologies. </li><li>Experience with Coupa, Ariba, SAP, or other ERP </li><li>Deep understanding of external market analysis to ensure best pricing/service mix </li><li>Knowledge of best practices within the Sourcing Discipline: SRM, Supplier Diversity, Sustainability, Supplier Alliances, Supplier Qualifications, Promotional Product Support, etc. </li><li>Strong working of Microsoft Office Professional Suite </li><li>Business process reengineering </li><li>8 plus years of experience in a Strategic Sourcing environment/ support and/ or function or equivalent experience </li><li>3 or more years of experiencing leading people or equivalent experience </li><li>Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience; MBA preferred. </li><li>Willing to travel for Business as needed </li><li>Best practices - procurement card, EDI, ERS, EFT, strategic alliances, supplier certification, etc. </li><li>Microsoft Office Professional Suite </li><li>Business process reengineering and supply chain management expertise </li></ul> <p>Desired Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>CPM or similar certification </li><li>Internal/external business consulting experience preferred </li></ul>
