Learn more about us at worcester.edu/about.</p> <p>Job Description: TITLE: SAVE</p> <p>SUPERVISOR: Stephanie Teixeira/Sarah Valois</p> <p>SCHEDULE: Based on student's class schedule</p> <p>HOURLY RATE: $15/Hr</p> <p>AVERAGE HOURS PER WEEK: 4-5</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Assist the SAVE Task Force in developing, implementing and promoting prevention programs, awareness campaigns, and survivor support initiatives. Plan and implement weekly tabling outreach activities that enhance SAVE prevention and education campaigns. Design social media content, fliers, graphics, evites, and other marketing material for SAVE programs and initiatives. Work collaboratively with the Title IX office and SAVE task force members. Participate in SAVE meetings and programming as schedule allows. Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with SAVE members and stakeholders to enhance programming efforts Meet in person with the SAVE Chair and Title IX Coordinator as requested.</p> <p>Requirements: Comfort with content area and sensitive topics of sexual and intimate violence is necessary. Experience in fields related to content (e.g. Sociology, Psychology, Urban Studies, Public Health, Marketing, Womens' Gender Sexuality Studies Concentration preferred). Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute educational programs and events. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse groups of students, faculty, and community members. Experience working in advocacy, peer education, or community outreach is preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing for outreach efforts.
