An international agricultural products and services company, we handle agricultural commodities and have a diverse portfolio of products and businesses.</p> <p>Summary</p> <p>The maintenance supervisor will lead a team of mechanics who diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.</p> <p>The salary range for this position is $63,000 - $95,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with an annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).</p> <p>In addition to the base salary, Perdue offers a competitive benefits package, including medical/Rx, 401(k) with employer match after 1 year, critical illness, accident insurance, dental, vision, life insurance, optional group life insurance, short-term and long-term disability protection, flexible spending accounts and paid time off.</p> <p>Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Supervise a shift maintenance team to include hiring, training, and developing the team to meet the needs of the department </li><li>Provide safe working conditions for associates and ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed </li><li>Provide technical support regarding routine and preventative maintenance requirements </li><li>Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment failures </li><li>Repair and rebuild mechanical and electrical equipment </li><li>Monitor the work of external contractors to ensure contract specifications complete work </li><li>Ensure all work is completed by all Federal, state, and Local environmental and safety requirements </li></ul> <p>Minimum Education</p> <ul> <li>HS Diploma or GED required </li><li>Advanced vocational or technical training preferred </li></ul> <p>Experience Requirements</p> <ul> <li>3 - 5 years of prior supervisory experience in a similar industry </li><li>Understanding of manufacturing technologies </li><li>Understanding of mechanical and electrical processes and equipment </li><li>Understanding of CMS systems, PMs, and data entry </li><li>Understanding and monitoring KPI's </li><li>Strong communication, math, analytical, and interpersonal skills </li><li>Understanding of standard software applications </li></ul> <p>Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements</p> <p>Able to move freely throughout the Division facilities to include climbing vertical heights (0 - 150'), carrying tools and equipment (0-100 pounds), exposure to extreme temperatures (0-100 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity, (0 - 100%), noise (50db to 100db) and chemicals (MSDS sheets available). Must be able to wear protective equipment to include self-contained breathing apparatus.
