<p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Perform mechanical maintenance and inspection on gas and steam turbines, pumps, valves, and other equipment </li><li>Be compliant with company policies (Health, Safety and Environmental policies, business policies, etc.) </li><li>Perform safe start-up, shutdown and isolation of equipment using Lock out Tag out Procedures </li><li>Troubleshoot equipment problems utilizing technical reference manuals and documents </li><li>Utilize automated maintenance systems to generate work orders and enter technical findings </li><li>Supervise and coordinate third party contractors </li><li>On-call rotation and emergency response as required </li><li>Special Projects and other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Required Skills / Knowledge</p> <ul> <li>Must be a steward of compliance and have a positive attitude towards safety </li><li>Demonstrated ability to utilize basic hand and power tools </li><li>Versatile in completing tasks in preventive maintenance and repairs </li><li>Ability to adapt positively to a changing environment </li><li>Good written, verbal, and computer skills </li><li>Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills with ability to maintain composure under stress </li><li>Team player with strong interpersonal skills </li><li>Able to work independently with minimum supervision </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>Five years industrial plant or equivalent experience as a Mechanic is preferred </li><li>Working knowledge of MS Office, Word and Excel is required </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Two-year degree or HS Diploma with equivalent experience, with emphasis on mechanical repair skills </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Required use of Personal Protective Equipment including but not limited to SCBA's, respirators and various classes of chemicals </li><li>Prolonged standing, sitting, and walking at times </li><li>Climbing ladders and scaffolding, working from elevation may be required </li><li>Heavy lifting and the use of hand and power tools </li><li>Work with high-pressure steam, water and air, chemicals, and chemical equipment </li><li>At times, may work in cramped and sometimes awkward positions </li><li>Ability to handle inclement weather and confined spaces as the position can require being outdoors </li><li>Exposure to high noise, heat and cold </li></ul> <p>What We Offer</p> <ul> <li>Annual Salary Range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 based on experience and skills set </li><li>Supportive company culture that values its employees </li><li>Comprehensive Medical, Dental, Vision & 401 K Plan </li><li>Paid Parental Leave, Time Off & Holidays </li><li>Extra money in your paycheck - Employee Referral Bonus </li><li>Personal Development & Career Succession Planning </li><li>Company sponsored Perks & Discount programs </li></ul>
