<p>Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Advise students in a professional manner, offering constructive, encouraging, and timely feedback </li><li>Tutor students as necessary on campus and remotely </li><li>Adhere to curriculum expectations, to ensure accreditation standards are met </li><li>Monitor and assist with a variety of laboratory activities for students at various levels of proficiency </li><li>Prepare, operate, maintain, and demonstrate classroom and laboratory equipment and materials </li><li>Provide students with individualized or small group assistance, guidance, and study strategies for the development and improvement of basic skills. </li><li>Explain and clarify learning activities to students </li><li>Support student retention by reviewing individual completion of learning activities, monitoring attendance, and contacting students as necessary </li><li>Assist with course design that meets or exceeds minimum content standards, communicate suggested course improvements </li><li>Provide timely grade postings and substantial feedback </li><li>Attend meetings as required (Faculty Forum, Team/Department Meetings, etc) </li><li>Clean and organize the lab after each use </li><li>Help with corporate wellness off-site activities and events as needed </li><li>Work with Department Head to plan and schedule field trips and guest speakers as needed </li><li>Record attendance, grades, and all other relevant communication in Transcript </li><li>Utilize and maintain a working knowledge of Canvas </li><li>Maintain accreditation compliance as it applies to the Massage Therapy Program </li><li>Maintain a high level of professionalism </li><li>Have a high regard for hygiene </li><li>Demonstrate effective communication skills, both oral and written </li><li>Monitor and assist with a variety of laboratory activities for students at various levels of proficiency </li><li>Implement and model the College Mission, and CARES philosophy, incorporating professional and ethical standards </li><li>Attend graduation ceremonies and participate in school-sponsored activities </li><li>Complete a minimum of two professional developments and two in-services </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul>
