<p>Position Type: CNC Programmer</p> <p>Location: Nashville, TN</p> <p>Annual rate: $90 - 105K</p> <p>Contractor benefits: Medical, Vision, Dental, 401k</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Key Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of CNC programming experience in the aerospace industry </li><li>Proficient in CATIA and Vericut </li><li>Demonstrated history of career longevity and deep technical engagement (not seeking short-term or long-term contractors) </li><li>Full-time, on-site </li><li>Relocation assistance available </li></ul> <p>Our Nashville facility currently has an opening for an NC Programmer. This position will provide programming support for machining parts, tools, and sheet metal on numerically controlled machine tools, including long bed machining and 5-axis milling machines using Catia V5 and Vericut software, to facilitate and control the manufacture of products for the overall operation of the organization.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Plans, creates, verifies and revises machine control data and documentation that direct the operation for multi-axis numerically controlled machines and robots required to manufacture and inspect complex parts and tools. </li><li>Provides numerical control, machining and programming technical expertise to cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams. </li><li>Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility. </li><li>Defines requirements for complex fixtures used to manufacture or inspect parts. </li><li>Plans, guides and facilitates the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods or inspection techniques, processes and software. </li><li>Continuously improves the quality of manufacturing processes. </li><li>Develops processes and procedures for new machines and products. </li><li>Is able to work independently without assistance from other Programmers. </li><li>Works with customers and Design Engineering to ensure Design for Manufacturability (DFM) has been incorporated </li><li>Can effectively lead projects and engineering efforts, and is capable of providing coaching and mentorship opportunities for junior NC programmers. </li><li>Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for effective performance. </li><li>Performs other duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Job Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree in related field or equivalent and 5 years of NC or manual machining experience OR 10 years of NC experience without degree. </li><li>5 years programming aerospace metallic and or composite structural components is required. </li><li>5 years Dassault CATIA V5 NC programming experience preferred. </li><li>Proficiency using CGTech Vericut CNC Simulation Software preferred. </li><li>Must be a US Person able to comply with ITAR regulations. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Aerospace Manufacturing experience preferred. </li><li>Familiarity with current windows environment and current Microsoft office suite. </li><li>Machinist experience. </li><li>Aerospace manufacturing experience. </li><li>VB or other macro coding software knowledge is a plus. </li></ul> <p>Must be U.S. Person for purposes of Export Compliance.</p> <p>EEO Statement Apollo Professional Solutions, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
