<p>Job Title: Senior Project ManagerJob Description</p> <p>The Senior Project Manager will work closely with partners, the Studio Director, and the Creative Director during design phases to establish and maintain project vision, goals, and quality. The role involves overseeing the project architecture and design team during the preparation of coordinated documents from concept design through construction documentation. This position requires building and maintaining client relations while acting as the day-to-day point of contact with clients.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Manage correspondence and coordination with clients, vendors, consultants, building departments, landlords, construction teams, and other project personnel. </li><li>Develop and track project schedules, staffing, and work plans, ensuring all major and minor project milestones are met. </li><li>Conduct financial management of projects, including the preparation and tracking of contracts, fees, invoices, scheduling, budgeting, and work assignments of project staff. </li><li>Research, analyze, and ensure compliance with governing codes and other applicable national standards, project standards, protocols, and guidelines. </li><li>Assist with staff development and mentoring. </li><li>Oversee the preparation of reports and presentations for client meetings. </li><li>Manage the development of architectural specifications. </li><li>Develop project-specific construction details that meet all design, performance, and code requirements. </li><li>Monitor progress of all construction phases in compliance with design drawings and deadlines. </li><li>Analyze construction bids received from contractors. </li><li>Oversee and perform construction administration duties, including reviewing submittals and responding to RFIs. </li><li>Utilize extensive experience managing the relevant project type to detail a project, specify systems/products, and recommend vendors/consultants. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree or higher in Architecture or related field. </li><li>Minimum 9+ years of professional experience working on related project types. </li><li>Minimum 4 years of experience managing teams and mid-to-large-sized projects. </li><li>Ability to interpret construction data, engineering calculations, drawings, and building codes. </li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, Photoshop, and InDesign. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel) and Google Suite. </li><li>Highly organized with acute attention to detail. </li><li>Strong time management skills. </li><li>Ability to handle the pressure of tight deadlines. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Basic knowledge of Revit and SketchUp preferred. </li><li>Ability to multitask and work with urgency. </li><li>Ability to accept directions and work well in a team. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This position is part of a 21-person firm focused on luxury residential projects, involving nationwide and international projects. The role includes a hybrid work schedule with 4 days in the office and Fridays remote. Business hours are from 9AM to 6PM. The job requires some travel to local, domestic, or international job sites. The professional office environment includes an open space office setting with considerable background noise and disturbances, using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
