This position will be moving to work out of our new (beautiful) showroom at International Market Square in 2026!</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Discovery:</p> </li><li> <p>Work with Account Executives to sell smaller jobs or work as a part of a larger team on bigger, more complex jobs.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist Account Executives in appointments and tours</p> </li><li> <p>Assist Account Executives as needed with site measurement and inventories</p> </li><li> <p>Articulate the benefits of using one product over another. Be able to apply this knowledge to solve problems.</p> </li><li> <p>Budget pricing</p> </li><li> <p>Help maintain the design library & stock appropriate tools. Order samples as necessary.</p> </li><li> <p>Build and maintain working relationships with vendors and vendor representatives</p> </li><li> <p>Continued education by attending vender updates and CEU's</p> </li><li> <p>Solutions:</p> </li><li> <p>Problem solving through design and product selection</p> </li><li> <p>Design and space planning</p> </li><li> <p>Create Customer Presentation using PowerPoint</p> </li><li> <p>Keep open lines of communication with Account Executives to ensure project success</p> </li><li> <p>Drawings and product specifications</p> </li><li> <p>Finish presentations</p> </li><li> <p>Project Renderings</p> </li><li> <p>Obtain installation quotes as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Navigate contracts to quote the best available pricing to the customer.</p> </li><li> <p>Selection:</p> </li><li> <p>RFP response documentation</p> </li><li> <p>Final Pricing</p> </li><li> <p>Installation documents</p> </li><li> <p>File completed projects</p> </li><li> <p>Team Work:</p> </li><li> <p>Receives work direction from the Design Manager</p> </li><li> <p>Openly exchange ideas and opinions with co-workers and ask for help when needed</p> </li><li> <p>Work with walk-ins to select furniture.</p> </li><li> <p>Work inventory into furniture proposals whenever possible</p> </li><li> <p>Prioritize workload and have a customer first attitude</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a positive attitude and overall communication</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>2 - 4 year Interior Design degree</p> </li><li> <p>5+ years relevant work experience</p> </li><li> <p>Advanced knowledge and aptitude for computer systems including:</p> </li><li> <p>Core</p> </li><li> <p>Microsoft Office Products</p> </li><li> <p>AutoCad</p> </li><li> <p>CET</p> </li><li> <p>CAP / Worksheet / 2020</p> </li><li> <p>Visual Impressions</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work independently and in a collaborative, team environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Occasional travel to support project tasks</p> </li><li> <p>Work well under pressure and achieve deadlines.</p> </li><li> <p>Have problem solving abilities.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to record and work with detailed information accurately.</p> </li><li> <p>Have strong persuasive and interpersonal skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to communicate both written and orally.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be reliable and prompt.</p> </li></ul> <p>As an Innovative Office Solutions employee, you are eligible for medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, Short and Long Term Disability, Basic Life and AD&D Insurance, Voluntary Life & AD&D Insurance, Voluntary Benefits and 401(k) if you work 30 or more hours per week.
