<p>Job Description:</p> <p>The Milford Public Schools is looking for a Director of Food Services.</p> <p>This is a Non-Union, 12 month position.</p> <p>Salary range $120,000 - $130,000, commensurate with experience.</p> <p>This position includes a benefits package and eligibility for a City pension.</p> <p>Interested applicants must apply online at www.milforded.org in order to be considered for the position.</p> <p>No phone calls please.</p> <p>General Function and Scope</p> <p>Milford Public Schools consists of approximately 5400 students and serves approximately 500,000 meals a year. The District School Nutrition Director will oversee all aspects of the district Child Nutrition Program (CNP) operation of the 14 schools and central warehouse and kitchen. The job functions include administrating, planning, directing, assessing, implementing, and evaluating the program in order to meet the nutritional and educational needs of children, as they relate to the CNP. The school nutrition professional shall partner with others in the school district and community to solicit support for the development of a sound nutrition assistance food program while following federal, state, and local guidelines. The CNP is to provide an environment that supports healthy food habits while maintaining program integrity and customer satisfaction.</p>
