<p>Description</p> <p>Actalent is hiring for a Simulation Engineer within the Stamping New Model Group. This groups focus is delivery of early planning and engineering solutions with agility and cost competitiveness across Product, Process and Tooling to improve N.A. manufacturing characteristics. Job Duties • Supports advance Body Frame Stamping product feasibility from styling sketch through 1st drawing issue for New Model Body in White construction. Creates part data proposals, tool process plan specification and rough layout. Reports technical criteria to Category Technical Expert and New Model Project Leadership. • Leads Manufacturing Stamping New Model equipment verification check list requirements and drawing maturation across N.A. DEBQ functions. 30% • Conceives and leads the development of New Model Stamping Tooling specifications/process plan from 1st drawing to Die GO. Provide direct technical guidance and oversight to downstream customers to ensure successful design and production deliverables are met.
