Madison High School is committed to providing an excellent experience in both academics and athletics for our student athletes. We have recently updated many of our facilities including our Locker Room & Weight Room.</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>The Varsity Girls Basketball Head Coach will be responsible for leading and developing a competitive basketball program that instills discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship in all student-athletes.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Develop and implement effective coaching strategies to enhance the performance and skill development of all student-athletes.</p> <p>Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes academic achievement, personal growth, community involvement, and sportsmanship.</p> <p>Collaborate with the athletic department, school administration, assistant coaches, and parents to create a supportive and engaging environment for the basketball program.</p> <p>Coordinate and execute offseason training programs to enhance players' physical conditioning, safety, and overall performance.</p> <p>Demonstrate a commitment to the academic success and character development of student-athletes.</p> <p>Promoting student-athletes, growing the program, and building the program for the future.</p> <p>Help manage the boys basketball program at all levels- youth, middle and high school.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Teaching certification preferred</p> <p>Coaching experience at the high school level or beyond</p> <p>Strong organizational and communication skills</p> <p>Knowledge of basketball strategies, techniques, and safety protocols</p> <p>Ability to positively influence and mentor all student-athletes</p> <p>Interested Applicants should apply at: www.madison.k12.in.us</p> <p>Cover Letter/Resume/References & any Question can be emailed to Devin Brierly @ dbrierly@madison.k12.in.us</p> <p>ECA Position: No benefits available</p>
