<p>Behavior Therapist/Technician For Autism (ABA)</p> <p>Progressive Option Support Services is seeking Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians to join our ABA Department! We seek qualified and dedicated professionals to service children and families throughout NJ.</p> <p>Responsibilities :</p> <ul> <li>Provide ABA services to children in-home under the supervision of a BCBA. </li><li>Implement treatment plans for children with ASD (includes, writing session notes and collecting data) - training is available! </li></ul> <p>Requirements :</p> <ul> <li>Have access to reliable transportation </li><li>Have access to a mobile device for data collection and session notes </li><li>Pass a criminal background check </li><li>Comply with all HIPAA (confidentiality) laws as it relates to Protected Health Information. </li><li>Be reliable, punctual, organized, and a self starter </li><li>Must be creative, enthusiastic, and a team player! </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>At least 6 months of home-based ABA experience </li><li>RBT certification at least one year experience working with children with ASD preferred </li><li>High school diploma and at least one year of experience working with children with ASD. </li><li>Display excellent clinical competence and judgment; ability of working in a multidisciplinary team environment </li><li>Ability to build strong, supportive relationships with parents and other caregivers </li><li>Respect for cultural diversity and capability of adapting ABA procedures to that diversity </li><li>Excellent written and verbal skills; detail oriented </li><li>Strong leadership and management capabilities. </li><li>Willingness to accept supervision and guidance, & remedy any identified deficits or weaknesses. </li><li>*Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is strongly preferred but not required. </li><li>1 year experience providing direct services to the autistic or the developmentally disabled population. </li><li>Must undergo a criminal background check. </li><li>Must be capable of a manual labor including but not limited to exerting 10-30 lbs. of force, kneeling, bending, balancing, reaching, and crouching in order to provide services to the ASD population. </li></ul> <p>Bonus Points:</p> <ul> <li>Dual language behavior therapists are welcome.
