<p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Senior Material Handler plays a key role in supporting the company's materials and logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and production material preparation. This position ensures accurate and efficient movement of materials across departments, while maintaining high standards for documentation, organization, and quality compliance.</p> <p>This is a temporary 9-month contract that will work on-site 5 days per week in Brisbane, CA.</p> <p>Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and supplies; process and route them according to standard procedures. </li><li>Pick, stage, and prepare materials and finished goods for production and outbound shipments. </li><li>Build, maintain, and deliver accurate production material kits. </li><li>Receive, document, and process field-returned devices to support complaint handling and service workflows. </li><li>Ensure warehouse, shipping, receiving, and inventory areas are clean, organized, and audit-ready at all times. </li><li>Monitor and replenish production floor inventory to prevent material shortages. </li><li>Accurately perform material transfers and complete system transactions in a timely manner. </li><li>Lead or participate in cycle counts and physical inventories; generate supporting documentation and reports. </li><li>Utilize barcode scanning systems for receiving, warehousing, inventory counting, and picking workflows. </li><li>Package final products in accordance with specifications and shipping standards. </li><li>Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation. </li><li>Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and all company quality, safety, and compliance policies. </li><li>Identify and support process improvements in inventory control and material handling operations. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required. </li><li>At least 5 years of experience in materials handling, inventory control, or related logistics functions. </li><li>Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse documentation roles. </li><li>Proficiency in computer-based inventory and tracking systems; ability to use spreadsheets and generate reports. </li><li>Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and respond to shifting operational demands. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with lean material flow principles and process improvement methodologies. </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). </li></ul>
