This role will support, develop and implement franchise operational capabilities and align operational support from internal business partners. This role will support pan-IMM strategic initiatives such as JET and agile pods.</p> <p>The Sr. Dir Commercial Strategy and Insights establishes operational work streams for supporting the Regional Franchise model and field sales including: Deployment, Incentive Compensation, Field Reporting, IT, Performance Metrics / Dashboards, CSO Management, Field Business Planning, Cycle / POA Meeting. The incumbent will also enhance customer engagement through operational process and best practices.</p> <p>The incumbent will be responsible to implement company interpretation and application of relevant laws, regulations, guidelines, and compliance policies. These activities will result in growth of the business by providing strategic and tactical support while addressing issues/opportunities with alternatives to achieve desired outcomes. Additionally, the incumbent will be assigned to various projects that require buy the business.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <p>Provide guidance and direction to the Operations Team to deliver the following:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Provide oversight and monitoring of all Fee For Service activities (FFS) and the processes around them, including Compliance, Totality, EMP and Ariba.</p> </li><li> <p>Directly work with HCC to ensure compliant marketing-related HCP educational activities. This requires staying up to date with all ongoing and compliance and regulator changes in Pharma.</p> </li><li> <p>Preparation and development of speaker, ad board, and consulting agreements and obtaining all requisite signatures including master service agreements, work orders, and consulting/speaker agreements.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead Immunology oversight of CAC efficiency and effectiveness, includes working with brand captains, PRS, Regulatory and legal to ensure reviews are thorough and done in an efficient manner</p> </li><li> <p>Lead Immunology oversight of marketing operations related to JET (Janssen Experience Transformation) and Agile Pod effectiveness and efficiency</p> </li><li> <p>Work closely with cross functional partners including, legal, compliance, regulatory, finance, and other opco's</p> </li><li> <p>Interact with vendors used by DOME to provide information from our database and/or work with them to collect information from their assigned projects.</p> </li><li> <p>Daily processing of assigned business reports and assisting with identification of unusual or abnormal data observations.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure all projects are completed in Totality, ARIBA, and ICD transactions</p> </li><li> <p>Manage budget and meeting quarterly and annual spend targets.</p> </li><li> <p>Serve as Subject Matter Expert for assigned database pools including current list of programs, speaker utilization, Ad Board status reports, and Purchase Order transactions.</p> </li><li> <p>Review and provide strategic insight to business leaders on DOME dashboard and performance metrics</p> </li><li> <p>Provide regular updates/reports to senior management</p> </li><li> <p>Support field actions as required</p> </li><li> <p>Lead/support company task force projects as required</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure people development</p> </li><li> <p>Encourage and lead diversity and inclusion</p> </li></ul> <p>Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Managing a team of direct reports (expect three or more)</p> </li><li> <p>Managing external logistics suppliers including:</p> </li><li> <p>Main Line Software (Speaker and DOME portal maintenance and enhancements)</p> </li><li> <p>APEX Medical Communications (program logistics and scheduling, developing collateral materials)</p> </li><li> <p>TL Health (processing of text based post program surveys)</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinating data transfer as needed to sales management, CE, JET, Compliance Observations & Monitoring, US Testing Operations, and HCC</p> </li></ul> <p>PRINCIPAL RELATIONSHIPS:</p> <p>Contacts Inside the Company: J&J Legal, Health Care Compliance, Field Sales Personnel and Sales leadership, Commercial Excellence, Janssen IT, Marketing leadership, Contracting, and Finance.</p> <p>Contacts Outside the Company: National Faculty speaker bureau members which includes physicians, nurses, and pharmacists; third party vendors contracted by the department / company; and professional associations.</p> <p>REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li> <p>A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required.</p> </li><li> <p>10 or more years in sales and/or operational roles is required. Three or more years of experience in sales leadership at the Regional Business Director level is preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Five or more years of direct people management experience is required.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of FDA promotional practice laws, regulations, policies, guidelines and enforcement trends is required.</p> </li><li> <p>The ability to think creatively, be solutions oriented and work in a team environment is required.</p> </li><li> <p>A willingness to explore issues in detail is required.</p> </li><li> <p>This individual must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, train other employees, work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.</p> </li><li> <p>The selected candidate must possess strong analytical thinking abilities, demonstrate strategic thinking and planning and work well in a matrix environment without direct line authority.</p> </li><li> <p>The selected candidate must be able to influence thinking amongst senior leaders and possess excellent communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>This position is in Horsham, PA and may require up to 30% travel.</p> </li></ul> <p>The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year.
